Designed by Long Nguyen & Zione Hong over the course of a year, the Asian Signers logo serves as a powerful emblem of Deaf identity & inclusivity. The design prioritizes linguistic authenticity by utilizing the "A" & "5" handshapes to visually represent the sign for "Asia," capturing its dynamic circular movement through fluid motion lines. This linguistic foundation is enhanced by a symbolic color gradient: the transition from teal to iris represents the merging of vast communities & diverse lived experiences—including adoptees, CODAs, and intersectional racial & gender identities. By fusing visual vernacular with a vibrant palette, the logo celebrates the cherished & distinct cultures that flourish within the Asian Signers community.
